Capacity Building Programme | Business Model Development and Innovation
As part of the CR.EU.IN. HERITAGE Call for Proposals, SMEs applied to Step 1 gained access to a dedicated Capacity Building & Matchmaking Programme designed to strengthen innovation readiness, business skills, international cooperation and consortium-building capacities within the Cultural Heritage Value Chain. The programme supported SMEs through interactive webinars, knowledge-sharing sessions and an online matchmaking process, helping them prepare stronger collaborative innovation proposals for Step 2. The objective of the “Business Model Development” module was the sensitization and education as well as qualification of the participating start-ups for the development and innovation of business models. A focus put on business model development in general whereas planning, implementation as well as monitoring will equally be considered. The module started with the theoretical foundations of business model development as a basis for the following training content which is more practically oriented. In subsequence, the module participants trained in the practical application of different methodologies and tools for planning, implementation and monitoring of business models using case studies and best practices. Through interactive design of the module the participants acquired capabilities for developing their business model themselves in the future.
