Living with Loss: A Bereavement Information Evening (2025)

Irish Hospice Foundation hosted our annual Living with Loss event during National Grief Awareness Week 2025. The event offered a safe and comforting space for those who are grieving. Our guest speaker, Catherine Tierney (Bereavement Clinical Manager, Irish Hospice Foundation), spoke about grief, the different ways it can impact our lives, and what can help. Sonia Rennicks (Irish Childhood Bereavement Network Manager) gave an insight into the experience a bereaved child may have. The evening also included poetry readings, a Q&A session with the speakers and Bereavement Support Volunteers, and some information about the supports and resources on grief and bereavement in Ireland. This event was kindly supported by our friends at Fanagans. Please remember that you are not alone in grief.
