Welcome to English in a Minute!   This is your thumb. But what could it possibly mean if you have a green thumb?   A: Dan, thanks for taking care of my office plant while I was away.  D: Oh, about that? I might have overwatered it. Or underwatered it.   Anna: Well, I haven’t been to my desk yet. But I’m sure it’s fine.   Dan: Well, actually… A: You killed it!   D: Hey, I never claimed to have a green thumb.     If you have a “green thumb,” you have a special ability to make plants grow and keep them healthy.
