Strong wind over the south of the country will start to ease this evening, and cloud will begin to feed into eastern areas, moving further inland overnight. There will be clearer skies in the north, and it will be feeling fresher. By morning, there will be plenty of cloud over the midlands and the east of England and Scotland, though this will gradually break up.
