Shoreline Detectives: This entire medieval village DISAPPEARED

On the Severn Estuary, Paleontologist Tori Herridge investigates a mysterious medieval ruin on a bleak island, a whole village that just vanished, and asks what brought Bob Dylan to the river Severn? The Severn Estuary contains the largest area of salt marsh habitat in the south and southwest area of the UK. --- Every day, on a sandy beach or a rocky foreshore, fascinating historical evidence appears and disappears as the tide rolls in and rolls back out again across the British coastline. Palaeontologist Dr. Tori Herridge and experts from CITiZAN (the Coastal & Inter-tidal Archaeological Network) investigate the stories behind these intriguing remains. From abandoned villages, prehistoric footprints, shipwrecks, and submerged forests, we follow the clues to how people have survived on the coast, and how they’ve learnt to live alongside the sea. It is an archaeological race against time as Shoreline Detectives battle to capture a vanishing past for us all to see.
