Skoda Yeti Dashcam Hardwire Installation

Finally got round to hard-wiring in my dashcam. I've had the kit for such a long time but the demise of my cabin 12V socket necessitated hardwiring the camera in. It's a fairly simple task, just take care to use tools that won't damage trim that you pull back and be wary of the presence of an airbag in the pillar - My Yeti doesn't have one in that location. The camera itself is quite old now and although records okay, if it is not switched off properly before losing power it sometimes fails to write the video file to the SD card correctly.
