I grew medium-sized tomatoes hydroponically using plastic bottles on a narrow balcony facing east. At first, I had two seedlings, so I thought I would grow them in comparison with coconut shells (coco peat), but they didn't grow, so I ended up with this format. In the end, they grew well even in the small container and I was able to harvest them! After harvesting, everything except the poles can be thrown away with the household garbage, so there's no need to deal with the troublesome soil, so I highly recommend it.
