Welcome to Part 1 of my Walking & Fishing in the Ardennes series. This adventure starts near Rue des Peupliers, where I spent the day exploring a beautiful mountain river with my spinning rod. I walked several kilometers through crystal-clear water, rocky banks and untouched nature, searching for wild fish. The fishing was slow, but sometimes the journey is more rewarding than the catch.
