After The Replacements Vol 1 // Paul Westerberg/Tommy Stinson/Chris Mars/Bob Stinson/Slim Dunlap
Hello, friends and welcome to Dark Stuff 257. This video is Part One of a two part series I'm doing with Will from @VinylPotato about the careers of the former members of The Replacements. The legendary 80s band played its last show on July 4, 1991 at Chicago's Grant Park. Shortly after the breakup, all of the former Replacements either had new bands or had embarked on a solo career. This video covers 1992 - 1999. One week from today, Part Two, covering 2000 - present, will be posted at Vinyl Potato ( / @vinylpotato ) on December 27, 2022. These videos were a labor of love, as both of us are HUGE Replacements fans. We cover every full length release from the former Mats: Paul Westerberg, Chris Mars, Slim Dunlap, Tommy Stinson, and Bob Stinson. At the end each video, we both give our top 3 from that era. So, make sure to watch all the way through. Make sure to check out my playlists to get a taste of the music we are taking about (Please note: three of the Chris Mars albums discussed are not available on streaming at this time): Apple Music: / after-the-replacements Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2Ud...
