This is a test video for an English subtitled version of the Poem of a Thousand Years by Sangnoksu. Be sure to turn the captions on to see the subtiles. This traditional epic-style Korean poem tells the story of a human lifetime through the mythical nine-tailed fox spirit which lives for 1000 years. The original was released in 2011 by Sangnoksu at the age of 17. This version was released in 2018. It is divided into four parts: 0:00 : I : Spring Dawn - the epic opening representing the beginning of spring 3:42 : II : Summer Day - represents the frenetic pace of life in the natural world during the summer 9:09 : III : Autumn Evening - an ambient lullaby representing the winding down of the yearly cycle.
