This fruit is actually huge but I've never seen it before in its full size. I've only had jackfruit from the can or as some type of snack. This is my first time trying raw jackfruit! I was really surprised about the consistency, I thought it would be softer. While it may look like a durian, it's different. The jackfruit is actually crunchy and not too sweet. I really like the flavor though! :) With the leftover jackfruit pieces I made some gooey jackfruit chips in the oven.
