PART 3: BACKDROP PAINTING
In Part Three, fields are painted under the hills using a 2 inch flat brush. Then new colours are used to create variation and interest in the fields. This process makes the hills further distant creating more depth to the model railroad scene. These scenes are shot in real time so you can see how short a time it really takes to do a 25 foot project like this on Tommy Hood's Canadian Northern.
