Add to that an inspired band playing... EBERHARD STOLLE, known as ‘Big Joe’, hardly needs any introduction. There are numerous good guitarists in Berlin, including various blues musicians. In my current opinion, Eberhard Stolle is the most accomplished of them. A musician since 1966, he fell in love with rhythm & blues in the late sixties and later became the leading bluesman in the GDR with ZENIT. At times a sideman for world-famous stars, he is not only a talented musician but also a good bandleader and someone who knows how to engage and entertain an audience. Eberhard Stolle is a blues and rock guitarist, has mastered slide guitar playing and is a very good blues harp player, recognised in music circles.
