The residents of Pic aux Morts (GDPL Taku in Dumbéa) were back in court on Wednesday. Facing them was the South Province, which is seeking their eviction to launch a construction program. In 2018, the residents had won their case. These lands have been the subject of a customary claim for over 40 years.
