RRI Conference 2020 | Updates in uremic calciphylaxis presented by Sagar Nigwekar
On the last day of the 22nd International Conference on Dialysis, 2020 in Los Angeles we started the day with a presentation from Sagar Nigwekar, MD, Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts General Hospital in Cambridge. Dr. Nigwekar's presentation hopes to outline an inter-disciplinary treatment approach to calciphylaxis as well as discuss recent literature pertaining to clinical presentation and the etiopathogenesis of calciphylaxis, and finally discuss clinical trials for patients with calciphylaxis.
