#08: Elegoo Centauri Carbon: Installing The Canvas Multicolour Kit on the CC1

I purchased one of the pre-order Elegoo Centauri Carbon printers and it has been an amazing little machine, spitting out some excellent prints. A few months ago I upgraded the chamber light, and in this video I'm installing the Canvas multicolour system to allow for 4 colour printing. The kit only costs $55, but it is a bit fiddly for novice users. It involves disassembling the print head to replace certain parts, adding an adapter cable to the AMS port (or installing the AMS port if you don't have one), and then attaching the actual Canvas unit and the 4 spool holders. It takes a couple of hours, however the process went smoothly and I was soon running off a test print. If you have a CC1 and want to try colour printing or just have the ability to auto-load spools when one runs out then this is certainly worth the money. If you haven't bought one then I'd recomment the CC2 Combo which already has the Canvas installed.
