"When Destinies Align" — both the MV and the live version — was absolutely epic. But as always… I preferred the live version. Let me tell you why. This song was dedicated to themselves and to their fans — and you could FEEL that watching them perform. The joy was all over their faces. Well… most of them. Miyako looked as relaxed as always — which at this point is just her brand and I respect it. 😅 But the person who stood out most? Haruna. 😤 The pace she was on behind that kit was making me SWEAT. And she kept throwing in these crazy pauses — perfectly placed — just to accentuate Midori and Miyako on guitars. That's not just drumming. That's drumming with purpose. Masterful doesn't even cover it. Speaking of Midori and Miyako — they brought it like they ALWAYS do. The furious speed. The impossible precision. It brings a tear to my eye every single time and this was no exception. The MV featured Miho on bass — and the live version had Fami. Both were excellent, especially considering the level of difficulty in those bass lines. But Fami? Fami looked like she was having the absolute time of her life on stage. 😭 Seeing that energy match the song the way it did — that's what live music is supposed to be. And Asami. Her vocals are so powerful and so beautiful — but what really stood out here was just how much joy you could hear in her singing. You can't fake that. You can hear it in every note.
