FIRST DRIVE: The NEW NSX Type S is here and Acura decided to raise the performance bar before killing it off. On the outside of the Type S you will find a redesigned front fascia, rear fascia, new forged wheels, optional carbon ceramic brake rotors, and standard carbon fiber roof. On the inside there are carbon fiber accents, leather/Alcantara seating, and digital gauge cluster. Under the engine hatch the NSX's 3.5L twin-turbo V6 mated to (3) electric motors now produces 600HP & is mated to a 9-speed DCT.
