Pop Pav into oven and turn down to 100 dgrees for 90 mins. Let cool completely with jar slightly ajar - a towel works well. I decorated this with a tropical feel: ✨ Meringue tip • Swap vanilla paste for coconut essence in your meringue for a subtle tropical flavour. 🍍 Decorating ideas • Thin slices of fresh pineapple and mango • Finish with toasted coconut chips for crunch and flavour 🥭 Passionfruit Caramel Syrup 1️⃣ Add ¼ cup caster sugar + ¼ cup water to a small saucepan, (double if you are serving a large pav). 2️⃣ Boil until a lovely caramel colour forms (about 10–15 minutes – don’t stir). Watch once colour comes, it deepens quickly. 3️⃣ Carefully add ¼ cup tinned or fresh passionfruit pulp 4️⃣ Allow to cool slightly, then stir in 1 tbsp rum or Malibu (optional) 5️⃣ Sieve to remove pips and chill until ready to serve 🍯 To serve • Drizzle syrup over the pavlova • Serve extra on the side for those who love a little more magic 💡 Best tip of all: ✔️ Pavlova is best decorated just before serving to keep it crisp and beautiful.
