Orrell station to Earlestown Station walk 10.3 miles. A bit of the history of the Sankey Canal

The total length is 10.3 miles, but the on screen description gives you alternatives to reduce the length, and public transport information to get you back to the beginning. It was filmed during the summer of 2020, when the restrictions on travel had been lifted- you need to check what the restrictions are if you plan to do the walk. You can use Northern Rail trains to get you to the start and from the end, or Arriva buses in between. For the techies;- Filmed on a GOPrp Hero8 black, mounted on a Hohem gimbal.
