Today, we have a bench trial with a pro se defendant who received a couple of traffic citations for speeding and driving on a restricted license. The trooper claims that the man told him that he was taking his GF to see a popular Christmas light display and it wasn’t until he questioned the man about driving against the restrictions on his license that he came up with a story about also meeting with his lawyer there too. He says the lawyer told him that that this was where he was willing to meet to discuss an RV that was stolen from his business, even though it was midnight at the time.
