HIKING TAIWAN: PINGXI CRAGS - 3 BREATHTAKING PEAKS IN ONE MORNING （一個早上，三座山：平溪之美，孝子山，慈母山，普陀山）

The Trail After arriving at the trailhead, you face an easy 5-10 minute uphill walk to the staging area for all three crags. From left to right the paths are Mt. Filial Son (孝子山), Mt. Motherly Love (慈母山) and Mt. Putuo (普陀山). Each peak takes about 30-45 minutes return, depending on your fitness level and how long you spend at the summit admiring the views. There is a shortcut between crags 2 and 3 which takes you down a steep side section. Travel Logistics Getting to Pingxi from the Taipei area is simple as trains run regularly and tickets are cheap. You can check the timetable on the TRA English site (https://tip.railway.gov.tw/tra-tip-we.... From the station it is around a 500m uphill walk to the trailhead (follow the signposts). Drones There are currently no known restrictions on the use of drones in the Pingxi area.
