Ever wonder how a turbine shaft is manufactured? I didn't think so. But it is interesting. It's a forging process and it involves a lot of heat, ginormous ovens, huge presses, cranes and pressure...lots of pressure on a huge hot chunk of steel. Produced this video when I worked at Grant PUD. Thanks to the amazing Dan Coulson for giving me all his footage.
