Urban Strike (1994) Sega Megadrive/Genesis Longplay

Urban Strike, the sequel to Jungle Strike and the third video game of the Strike series. The game was developed by Granite Bay Software, and published by Electronic Arts. It was released for the Sega Megadrive/Genesis in 1994. Plot First the Desert Madman, then the Jungle Drug Lord.... now a new evil challenges the Strike C.O.R.E. right here in America. Urban Strike takes place in the year 2001 and centres around the antagonist H.R. Malone. An evil genius, a millionaire media mogul, an ex-presidential candidate, and a fanatical cult leader who promises a moralistic agenda that will expunge corruption from America and promises that his personal security force will tackle crime. Despite being considered dangerous, Malone's charisma has won him many American followers. As the plot begins, one of Malone's men is revealed to be Agent Ego, a spy for the C.O.R.E. Strike organization and a former co-pilot from the events of Jungle Strike. Ego reports to his superiors that Malone is planning construction of a superweapon with which to destabilize the US government, and that valuable components are being collected in Hawaii. However, he is unaware that Malone has penetrated his cover, and Ego is killed with a car-bomb. The player character takes the news of Ego's death very personally, and goes on a mission, greenlighted by C.O.R.E. Strike, to crush Malone and his rebellion at all cost!
