You can easily catch a shuttle from Mayrhofen to the Stillup reservoir/Gasthof Wasserfall (i.e., the starting point of the trek). Similarly, you can easily catch a shuttle from Schlegeis reservoir/Schlegeisspeicher (i.e., the end point of the trek) back to Mayrhofen.
