The Ducks are looking to bounce back after a rough Opening Day performance against the Riptides, where they allowed four home runs on the mound in a blowout loss. Although captain Tyler Davis remains unavailable, the Ducks are still confident in the group they have. Quinn Myers has stepped up as the interim captain and will lead a talented roster featuring stars Kollin Stone and Jimmy Knorp. The Ducks believe they have the firepower to compete with anybody in the league and are determined to prove that their first game was simply a bump in the road. For the Crushers, this game is an opportunity to get back the momentum they had winning the Como Blitzball World Series last season. Their opening loss to the Steamrollers was their first defeat since 2024, ending one of the most impressive runs in recent Blitzball history. Captain Caden Sartain will look to lead the way as the Crushers attempt to find a win and avoid an 0-2 start to the inaugural NBL season. The storylines do not stop there.
