“Chimes of Liberty” is one of Edwin Franko Goldman’s greatest hits. Composed in the early 20th century, it reflects Goldman’s mastery of the American military march. Often compared to John Philip Sousa, Goldman brought his own distinct voice, lyricism and flair to the concert band tradition. “Chimes of Liberty,” with its stirring melodies, remains a concert favorite and a proud symbol of American musical heritage.
