Gavotte des Montagne | Chain Dynamics & Space Management in Breton Dances (Full Workshop)

In this full, one-hour masterclass, we do a deep dive into the Gavotte des Montagnes, a complex and dynamic Breton folk dance. This session was taught as part of a larger workshop on space management. We use the Gavotte as a living laboratory to explore how a group manages space, how chain dynamics work in motion, and how each individual dancer is responsible for the moving whole. This is a key exploration in my "Transformative Arts" mission: to see dance not just as steps, but as a powerful, interactive system for connection and self-awareness.
