How Did It All Go So Wrong? Trying To Fix Our Boat Living On A Scottish Island - Ep157

Willie, Sarah and their dogs, Jack Spaniels & Nori, left their suburban life and moved over the sea to a remote cottage on the Isle of Skye, in the Scottish Highlands. Here we grow our own food, do renovation projects, explore the stunning landscapes, take trips in our wee boat, work on our rusty but reliable Land Rover Defender, forage for wild food and generally try to live a slower, simpler pace of life. This week the Skye Lifers are hoping to finally get Betty the Boat back out where she belongs - on the sparkling turquoise sea of the Hebrides...but will their investment in a brand new engine turn out to be a dream come true or a disaster?! The engine arrives in a damaged crate and we have a fight on our hands to find out if it still works and we can feel confident out on the water.
