Yasutaka Akimoto (2022) "Kantian Ethics for Living Now," Shueisha Shinsho https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B0B63FKVT... Synopsis What exactly is good and bad in modern society? This is how Kant would have thought. Due in part to the development of various technologies, standards of right and wrong are becoming increasingly blurred in modern society. Business, moral education, reproduction and medicine, environmental issues, AI, discrimination... How should we judge the various ethical issues that arise in modern society? The answer lies in Kant. While constantly referenced as an important classic in philosophy and ethics, Kant's work is often described as difficult to understand. However, the author, who earned a PhD in Kantian ethics in Germany, breaks it down to the utmost level of clarity. This book then presents practical ethics that we can use today.
