Cycling Solo the Silk Road on a Gravel Bike : 12,000km and 18 countries

At the beginning of 2022 I cycled the Silk Road solo with a Cube Nuroad Pro. This 4 months journey of 12,000 km took me through 18 counties between Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia. Amongst other things, I crossed the Alps in winter, rode along the Syrian and Iraqi borders in Kurdistan, entered Iran in time of Ramadan and cycled the Pamir Highway, the 2nd highest road in the world (highest point 4,655m).
