A Slow Summer Day Off in Japan | Chicken Tempura & a New Wind Chime | Living Alone, My 30s
A day off with nothing planned — just the way I like it. I started by fixing a screen door my cat had completely destroyed, then restocked the empty fridge and made a creamy butter chicken curry. In the afternoon I wandered down to Sannomiya, found a lovely little natural-goods shop, and finally picked out a wind chime for summer. Back home, I cooked somen, chicken tempura, and potato salad for dinner with Kiri.
