Rifugio Re Alberto: un’avventura indimenticabile
🎒 Rifugio Re Alberto – Hike among the legendary Vajolet Towers in the heart of the Catinaccio Today we're taking you on one of the most exciting hikes in the Dolomites: the trek to Rifugio Re Alberto (2,621m), in the heart of the Catinaccio, surrounded by the imposing Vajolet Towers. We start from Gardeccia (1,949m), accessible by shuttle or lifts from Pera di Fassa, and ascend along the comfortable mule track 546, which leads in about an hour to the Vajolet and Preuss refuges (2,243m). From there, we continue on trail 542, which, with equipped sections and a significant elevation gain, climbs to the Gartl basin, until we reach Rifugio Re Alberto, nestled in one of the most majestic landscapes in the Dolomites. During the ascent, fixed ropes help with the more exposed sections, but the route remains safe and very rewarding for those accustomed to mountain hiking. Once at the top, the view of the Vajolet Towers is worth every effort! And for the more experienced, it's possible to climb further to the Rifugio Passo Santner (2,734 m), just 30 minutes away. The Rifugio Re Alberto offers traditional Trentino cuisine, simple hospitality, and a dream location. 🧭 An exciting itinerary amidst nature, adventure, and postcard-perfect views in the heart of the Dolomites. 📌 All the details on our website: 👉 https://www.dolomitiebambini.com/rifu... ⸻ 👣 Trek technical data 📍 Start: Pera di Fassa (1,325m), with chairlifts to Gardeccia 🎯 Arrival: Rifugio Re Alberto (2,621m) – same trail back 📏 Length: ~12 km round trip ⛰️ Elevation gain: +819m / -819m 🕓 Time: 4–5 hours (without stops) 🎥 In this video, we show you step by step this unforgettable hike through the wonders of the Catinaccio. 👉 Subscribe to the channel and activate the bell 🔔 to never miss future videos! 📹 Next stop: other panoramic routes and refuges in the Dolomites. 🌐 All our itineraries are described in detail at 👉 https://www.dolomitiebambini.com 🛍️ Also visit our Amazon shop for outdoor gear recommendations: 👉 https://www.amazon.it/shop/dolomitieb... ➡️ By purchasing through this link, there will be no additional costs, but you will help us support the channel.
