No More Discs? The Gamer Bill of Rights for an All-Digital Future

Sony and Microsoft are pushing gaming into an all-digital future and quietly rewriting what it means to "buy" a game. No discs. No resale. No lending. And a library that can be deleted out from under you whenever a company decides it's done supporting it. So, I wrote something back: The Video Gamer Bill of Rights, a consumer manifesto for digital ownership, game preservation, resale, repair, and the right to actually keep the games you paid for. In this livestream I'm walking through the whole thing, article by article, and taking your reactions live. We're covering digital game ownership, the death of physical media, delisted games, dead servers, subscription creep, and the core question the industry keeps dodging: if you can't resell it, lend it, or keep it… did you ever really own it? Plus the latest home arcade and retro gaming news, new releases, and whatever's annoying me this week. The whole thing comes down to three lines: If you sell it, we own it. If we don't own it, don't call it a sale. If you erase it, we have the right to preserve it. Pull up a chair. Bring opinions.
