Southport Pier Fine Art Landscape Photography

In this video, I take on the challenge of capturing fine art landscape images at Southport Pier during a rare high-high tide! Earlier this week, I headed to Southport to photograph its iconic pier during one of the highest tides of the year, measuring 9.86 meters, in case you were wondering. I arrived just 30 minutes before high tide to find near-perfect conditions. It was bright but not too sunny, with wispy clouds in the sky and barely any wind. For once, I had nothing to complain about, hurray! I started with some straightforward compositions before pushing myself with a few more challenging ones. I even shot one image in portrait orientation, which is something I rarely do! Aside from my microphone picking up a little too much of the sea’s roar, I thoroughly enjoyed making this video. I even captured a couple of unexpected shots, can you guess which one is my favorite? I hope you enjoy the video!
