Como fazer reforço para alimentar abelhas nativas sem ferrão

When there aren't enough flowers for the bees to collect nectar to make honey (the bees' energy source, including our native bees), unfortunately, it's necessary to supplement with syrup containing water and sugar. I say unfortunately because ideally, local flowers would be abundant, not only for the bees in our meliponary, but also for those in the wild. In my region, there are flowers with a good amount of pollen (I see the bees arriving "loaded," sometimes, one after the other), but not so much for nectar (if we don't feed them syrup, their pots are empty, with no honey inside several colonies). We're planting for the bees (Adriana and I), but it's still not enough ☹ Anyway, I'm sharing with you the recipe I use here in our urban meliponary to prepare the energy syrup for stingless bees. Ah! It can be served to Tubuna, Mandaguari, Jataí, Mirim, Mandaçaia, and other bees, but don't forget that each bee species can draw a certain amount of syrup. In the video, it was offered to Mandaçaia Mqq (melipona) bees. If it were, for example, to Jataí bees, the amount would be much smaller; a soda cap would be enough. ************** Carlos Freitas 👇How to raise stingless bees👇 👉 http://bit.ly/3kRsDOU *********** My name is Carlos Freitas, I'm a webmaster and meliponiculturist, and you're on the Abelhas e Nativas channel. 🙂 If you liked the video, don't forget to like it, subscribe to the Abelhas e Nativas channel, and hit the notification bell to be notified of future videos.
