The USS KIDD (DD-661) was put in drydock on August 13th to receive long-awaited repairs. This video documents the process from start to finish: moving the ship into a holding position, lowering the drydock, towing the ship inside the drydock, maneuvering over the keel blocks, raising the drydock, and moving the drydock (ship and all) to the repair yard.
