The Citroën Traction Avant was a very innovative car produced from 1934 to 1957. The car is a real movie star as it appears in many movies. Traction Avant, which translates as "front wheel drive," is not the official name. Like the 2CV the car was named according to the French fiscal horsepower rating, or CV.
