Richard Swan, director of London City Voices (www.londoncityvoices.co.uk) teaches Wimoweh, by Solomon Linda, to the audience at the 2016 Summer Concert at Troxy, London. LCV is a non-audition, non-religious, multi-branch choir singing mainly pop and rock repertoire. Sadly, Solomon Linda never received any royalties for the song, (originally named "Uyimbube", meaning "you are a lion" and misheard by Pete Seeger, who made it famous). It was only in 2006 that he was formally acknowledged as the composer of the song, and his estate was awarded the rights to past and future royalties.
