On the second day of our couple's trip to Yamanashi (our first night was in Funayama Onsen), we stayed at the Kofu Showa Onsen Business Hotel. It was an inn with a natural, artesian hot spring, 100% of the water flowing directly from the source! And with a stunning view of Mt. Fuji right from the window, the location was incredible!! In the morning, we visited Mt. Minobu, the head temple of the Nichiren sect, and challenged the Hell's Stone Steps. I nearly called an ambulance (lol). For dinner, we went to the nearby Yoshida udon restaurant, Handmade Udon Nabe, which is famous for its udon noodles. Breakfast was a bento box that included hot rice.
