When competing at a high level of sport, the smallest adjustments to your training or recovery regime will make a huge difference in your performance. Since beginning my yoga journey, I have developed a different type of strength in my body in addition to the strength I build in the boxing or weights gym. I never planned to bring yoga into my fight camps but now it's a fundamental part of all my training routines. Yoga brings an unwavering steady body strength to balance out the highly strenuous boxing training. If you want to be able to move your body when you're old after years of high-impact movement, then yoga is essential for you.
