Kynosys Drill Press Dust Collection System / DIY

Whenever I used the drill press, I thought a lot between the fastening of the drill bit and the perfect dust collection. There was always a conflict between how to fasten the drill bit comfortably and wanting to collect it with an airtight container regardless of it. Now I've made that solution a reality. Arms that can move from both sides to the drill chuck part were installed and made to stick with magnets to make it easier to fasten the bit. Transparent acrylic was used in the dust collection tube to check the drill work. In addition, the acrylic dust collecting tube can be adjusted according to the height of the board so that the dust collecting tube and the beam can be closely attached regardless of the height of the board. The iron product I used as an arm for dust collection used IKEA's adjustable mirror, and the price is very low. I think it's also very important to find the right material for DIY. While creating an automatic up-down drill press system, the back of the table was made spare to implement such a dust collection system. If you want to make this dust collection system, I recommend expanding the table of the drill press first. I will use it a lot in my drilling work in the future.
