We didn't see many campervan travelers who had made it this far, but for us, discovering Valledupar, the world capital of vallenato music, was a must. It's a verdant paradise in the north of the country, perfect for road trips. We loved being able to park safely, explore the city, and escape the Cesar heat by cooling off in the spectacular Guatapurí River. We also visited Plaza Alfonso López and the city center, where we enjoyed the best goat stew and sancocho without breaking the bank (we ordered one dish to share).
