Large fire breaks out at Sunderland scrap yard

Firefighters are tackling a large fire at a scrap yard in Hendon, Sunderland. Nine fire engines are on the scene of the incident at Hanratty's Scrap yard, and residents in the area have been urged to stay indoors and keep their windows closed. The thick smoke billowing from the huge blaze can be seen across the city. It's not yet known how the fire started.
