Fuchsia Bonsai Trees - Pruning and Shaping Ideas 🌱

In this Bonsai video we are working on some Fuchsia Bonsai Trees. I'll be showing you some of my methods of approaching these through different pruning and shaping techniques via the clip and grow method. This will improve the overall taper and ramification of the trees over time. The Fuchsia is also a very easily accessible perennial found in most nurseries and garden centres! I think Fuchsia are well-suited for Bonsai as they have naturally small leaves, elegant hanging flowers, and are fast growing! The Fuchsia's ability to thrive in containers and adapt to different pruning techniques allows you to create a variety of styles from informal to formal upright, cascade, or semi-cascade, all while showcasing the plant's graceful beauty. They are also quite hardy and will stay alive in a variety of conditions making them the perfect tree for beginners! (They are even considered an invasive species by some!)
