🔗 https://orcd.co/nicholas-zakaria Nicholas Zakaria was a legendary Zimbabwean guitarist, singer, and songwriter known as “Madzibaba” and the “Senior Lecturer” because he mentored many younger artists who later became stars. He led the influential band Khiama Boys, formed in the early 1980s, which played a major role in shaping and popularizing Sungura, a fast-paced guitar-driven style of Zimbabwean music. Through decades of recordings and performances, Zakaria helped launch the careers of musicians such as Alick Macheso and System Tazvida.
