I Crashed My New DH Bike on Its First Ride

Not exactly the first ride I had imagined for my new downhill bike. First ride on the all-new Norco Torrent DH at the SORCA Squamish Downhill on the iconic 19th Hole trail. This video follows my first impressions of the bike, the steep and technical terrain, and the crash that ended the day. After finishing the build the night before, I finally got to ride my new Norco Torrent DH during practice for the SORCA Squamish Downhill on the legendary 19th Hole trail. The day started exactly how I'd hoped; learning one of Squamish's steepest and roughest tracks, getting comfortable on the new bike, and building confidence with every run. Then one corner changed everything. Beyond the crash itself, I wanted to include the moments afterwards as a reminder of how important it is to stay calm, communicate clearly, and ride with people who know how to handle these situations. A huge thank you to ‪@LewisBuchanan‬ ‪@YoannBarelli_IntoTheGnar‬ ‪@ztipsetan‬ and ‪@thorwoutwarntjes8702‬ for taking charge, making sure I was okay, and helping manage the situation. The video wraps up with an Into The Gnar Crash Log, where I break down what happened, what I learned, and what I'll take away from the day. If you enjoyed the video, I'd really appreciate you leaving a comment and subscribing for more mountain bike adventures.
