Basic Pizza Dough
This video demonstrates how to make a good basic pizza dough using all purpose flour. This dough, when rolled out very thin can yield a nice crispy thin under-crust. On the other hand, if this dough is rolled out and allowed to remain somewhat thicker, then it can yield a slightly soft and chewy under-crust. This dough can be made and stored in a zip lock bag in the fridge for up to two days without any adverse effects to the final cooked dough. This dough can also be frozen for 2-4 weeks and thawed slowly under refrigeration before being used. There are dozens of different types of pizza dough’s to be made and this one is my “go-to” dough when I want a nice pizza at home.
