Hawker Fury, rubber powered model aircraft, 2026/05/21

This is a profile model of a Hawker Fury. It's made from a peanut plan by John Blankenship. The plan is freely available on outerzone: https://outerzone.co.uk/plan_details.... I had trouble trimming this model. In the end it showed, that the wings produced too much lift because the airfoil was very pronounced. I took the upper wing off and flattened it as much as I could. In the lower wing I added some "flaps" which I bent upwards. Also I enlarged the vertical stabilizer a bit. After all that, the result can be seen in the video. It now flies OK-ish I think. Wingspan: 330 mm, 13" Weight: 8.8 g without rubber Rubber: loop of 3/32"
