EPSON EF-61 vs TOPTRO X9、同じ白壁に本気の100インチ投影で比べてみたら…

I compared Epson's new EF-61 with the highly acclaimed Chinese TOPTRO X9 projector, a ¥30,000 projector, in a side-by-side 100-inch projection. (^^) How does the brightness and color differ despite the three-times price difference? I'm sure many of you are curious. Also, while the Chinese projector seems cheaper and more advanced, some may be concerned about the annoying fan noise. I also compared that point realistically. Also, this is something you won't find mentioned online in typical ¥30,000-¥100,000 projector reviews... Is it actually HDR or SDR? There are differences. Simply put, even if a model under ¥100,000 advertises HDR10 in the product description, I couldn't actually enjoy the beauty of HDR10. However, I feel that there are exceptions, starting with the EPSON EF21, which can create a pseudo-HDR effect using a proprietary engine even with an 8-bit panel. The EF61 has a 10-bit panel, so it has more leeway, but I still wish it had a little more brightness. On the other hand, budget Chinese projectors like the TOPTRO X9 don't have software that properly processes HDR. (Even though they don't actually support it, the product description claims that they support dynamic HDR, such as HDR10+.) Some built-in OSes and other specifications input HDR, so if you use them with a Netflix Premium plan as is, HDR will be activated, making movies appear slightly darker. 🔽Check out this video for solutions.
